CLICK HERE to read past issues of The WORD from this school year.
We are beginning the process of building our PTO board for the 2020-21 school year. If you are interested in getting involved with our organization next year, please CLICK HERE for the Board Nomination Form. You can nominate yourself or a friend that you believe would make a great addition to the PTO board.
Please CLICK HERE to read the latest issue of The Word. It is filled with school and PTO related information including:
- a video of the presentation made at last Friday’s General Board meeting by Vanessa Eisenman, from the WHS English department, on the school’s Writing Center,
- a short video by Principal Wolak on the results of the Climate Survey as it relates to the high school;
- a snapshot of the PTO’s financials from our treasurer, Jen Meir,
- details of three philanthropy requests that were recently approved,
And more! (Please note that many scheduled activities and events listed may have been changed due to the public health crisis occurring right now.)
As always, if you have any questions, concerns or compliments you would like to share regarding your experience with the PTO, please do not hesitate to contact me.
WHS PTO President
Ours is a mad, mad world these days....
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the local and federal actions in place, it is only prudent that our PTO respond in a socially responsible way regarding its upcoming activities and meetings. Until further notice, all Weston PTO meetings will be held via conference call (Executive Board) and Zoom (General Board meetings). Newsletter communication will be limited to pertinent or time sensitive matters. Staff appreciation and any fundraising events will be postponed until we know better what is happening in the district.
The Weston PTOs will, however, continue the nominating process for the WHS PTO Boards for the 2020-21 school year. This process is being conducted by Casey Saussy, Committee Chair, Shawn Amato, Candace Kuzma, Debbie Morvillo and Angela Zielinski. Please help them by filling out the Nominating form asap. You can nominate yourself or a friend. Please note that the recent ByLaws amendment limit the term of an executive position to one year and those on the General Board to two years, so if you have met that term, try out a new position! Please take a minute to Click HERE. If you have any questions, contact Casey directly at email@example.com
Be safe and stay healthy! As always, do not hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns or comments. I’ll be at home....

Security and Parking at Weston High School
When visiting WHS please remember to bring your driver’s license for identification. Security will scan your ID and issue you a visitor badge, which must always be worn when in the building.
When attending meetings or visiting WHS please park in visitor spaces; along School Road across from the WHS main entrance, or along the WIS access road on the side next to Stadium Field. There is no visitor parking in any lot (including the gravel lot). These parking spaces are numbered (except for the gravel lot) and have been assigned to students and staff members. An empty parking space does not mean it's available.
Thank you for your support and cooperation.
