We know many of you are likely getting away this year for Memorial Day after about 449 days of Covid Lockdown - and we don't blame you! And we also know it's hard to justify buying tickets to our Memorial Day Weekend movies if you aren't going to be able to attend.
But don't worry! There is a way for you to contribute to the PTO's fundraiser, and to help some of our Fairfield County neighbours at the same time!
We have partnered with the non-profit, Malta House, in Norwalk and offered to share tickets with them and the young homeless mothers they support. We are also working with Weston Social Services, and hope to reach as many people as possible.
Malta House is the only home for pregnant women above the age of 18 in Fairfield County, and one of a limited number of programs for young homeless mothers and their babies. They provide a nurturing home environment, support services and independent living skills to pregnant and parenting mothers of all faiths and their children. For more information, go to http://www.maltahouse.org/about-us
In order to donate movie tickets, please go to our Memorial Day Store and purchase a ticket. You will see a drop-down option which asks 'Is this ticket a donation?'. Select yes, and we will handle the rest!
