OUR OUTDOOR MOVIE GUIDELINES ARE SET OUT BELOW. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE SOME DIFFERENCES BETWEEN OUR TWO VENUES: LACHAT TOWN FARM AND THE WHS PARKING LOT. 

PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE GUIDELINES BEFORE ATTENDING.

 

General information

  • The Lachat site will open at 7.45pm and the movie will start at approximately 8.10pm (as there is a strict finish time of 10pm for all Lachat events).
  • The WHS lot will open at 8.00pm and the movies will start at approximately 8.30pm.
  • For Lachat movies, please enter at the upper parking lot at 1 Ladder Hill Road (this is the same street as the Weston Field Club).  
  • For WHS movies, please go to the WHS parking at 115 School Road.
  • FOR LACHAT ONLY: The audio will be broadcasting on 90.9 FM, which you can tune into on your car radios.  Portable radios work as well.  The movies will not be broadcast over speakers on site.
  • FOR WHS ONLY: The movie audio will be broadcast over speakers on site.
  • You will receive your pre-ordered movie snack packs at check-in.  There will be no food available for purchase on site.  There will be no trash cans due to safety reasons, so please carry out anything you bring in.
  • Please turn off your lights.
  • We urge you to bring/wear organic bug spray and wear suitable clothing for the weather.
  • You can hand your printed-out purchase confirmation to the attendant at check-in (or present it electronically). 
  • Parking spaces will be marked by cones.
  • Cars can back into spaces and sit in their trunk bed.  Visitors with pick ups are also allowed to sit in the truck bed.  Open top cars and sitting on cars is also permitted.  Sitting in chairs outside of your vehicle is permissible, but please stay with your vehicle.  
  • WHS ONLY: If you have a walk-in 'pod' ticket, please bring chairs and sit in the designated area, and maintain appropriate distance from other groups.    
  • We ask you to stay with your own party for the duration of the event.    
  • There will be porta potties available.  You may want to bring a flash light with you.
